Montbell Tachyon Anorak – Thin and Light Shell Jacket
By Editor | August 9, 2011
The Montbell Tachyon Anorak shell jacket is incredibly thin and the Pertex Quantum fabric is very lightweight, thin and a little crinkly. A hood is included with the Anorak shell jacket and it fits quite well to most head shapes when tightened up.
When tested the material seem to have ward off light rain and wind quite well, staying for extended period outside in the rain though will see the material soak right through.
Other features are stretchy elasic cuffs to help keep moisture and wind out. Once packed and stuff into its self stuffing bag, the overall size is quite small and light, though it looks like a small garbage bag.
Features:
- Draw cord hem and hood adjustment
- Elasticized cuffs
- Reflective logo on body and back
- Stuff sack included
- 7-denier rip-stop Ballistic Airlight nylon shell
Weight: 2.3 oz
Price $89.00
